EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp. released the 2020-2021 academic calendar early Tuesday.
Similar to last year’s calendar, the next school year will include 180 instructional days — 90 days for both the first and second semesters. There was one change noted, aside from changes in dates — Staff Professional Development Day on Sept. 28, 2020, which will be considered a student virtual day.
Here’s a look at the rest of the 2020-2021 academic calendar.
The first day of school for the 2020-2021 school year will be Aug. 5, 2020, and the end of the first semester is set for Dec. 18, 2020. Fall break will be Oct. 9, 12 and 13, 2020, and winter break will be Dec. 19, 2020, to Jan. 4, 2021.
The start of the second semester begins Jan. 5, 2021. Spring break will be March 22 to March 26, 2021, with the end of the second semester set for May 21, 2021.
