ACL Fest: Bia has a performance for everyone, twerk enthusiasts especially

Rising rap star Bia drew a massive crowd at Austin City Limits Music Festival, and by the end of her thrilling set, it was clear the "Whole Lotta Money" artist has a little something for everybody. Here are a few notes we took away from her electrifying performance.

BIA is for the super freaky girls, twerk enthusiasts and then some

Bia, born Bianca Miquela Landrau, shook the Miller Lite stage, with hits like "Free Bia (1st Day Out) and "Bia Bia" drawing in a sea of fans that nearly stretched to the Honda stage.

Between the 31-year-old artist’s hard-nosed rhymes and twerk-inducing tracks, BIA offered the crowd a taste of R&B with a verse from Russ' "Best on Earth" and gave her Latin fans a nod with "Besito."

The Italian and Puerto Rican rapper had fans on their toes with the New York drill track "Bamba," and of course, inspired her free-spirited fans to twerk their hearts out with her verse from Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girls."

Did we mention the energy and the twerking?

Bia asked each of her fans to give their all.

"I need y'all's all time most energy for the day."

And they did -- with fans forming twerk circles in the Texas sun and moshing in front of the stage.

Joining fans, Bia twerked on all corners of the stage and hyped up a crowd of festival-goers who were as willing to shake their asses in a circle to her songs as she was. It was a moment.

BIA is the sturdiest artist to hit ACL

As Bia performed the drill-inspired "London," she incited the crowd to get sturdy, a dance that originated from New York's drill music scene. By the song's end, she even asked a fan to come up stage to join her in dance.

"Can I bring homegirl on here, she's a vibe," the rapper said.

And in seconds, the fan, identified as "Justina from Philly," had her moment with the "Can't Touch This" star, with the two of them holding hands and dancing center stage. Name a sturdier duo. I'll wait.
