World's greatest superheroes will be on display in new Marvel exhibit at COSI

The world's greatest comic book characters will make a superhero landing at the Center of Science and Industry in November for the new "Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes" exhibition.

The exhibit, which will chronicle the creation of culture-defining heroes like Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Panther and others, will make its debut at the science center, on Nov. 26 and run through May 30, 2022.

COSI named best science museum in the nation by USA TODAY for second consecutive year

For the second consecutive year, the Center for Science and Industry has been named the top science museum in the country by the 2021 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Travel Award Contest.

From public voters and a panel of experts, a list that included editors from USA TODAY, 10Best.com and other relevant contributors, COSI was selected among 19 other science museums across the nation.

Center of Science and Industry hosts Miss America for The Color of Science program

In recognizing the importance of diversity in the world of science, the Center of Science and Industry will welcome Miss America 2020 winner Camille Schrier for the center's The Color of Science Digital Series from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday.

Schrier, 25, who impressed the judges at the Miss America competition by performing a catalytic experiment that showcased the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide — also known as “Elephant Toothpaste” — will be interviewed by COSI President and CEO Frederic Bertley during the monthly series.
